Frequently Asked Questions

Yes, the H2OG FOGGER is designed to be easily removed or reinstalled in minutes. We know the value of saddlebag space, so the system is easily removed when not needed.

In order to have a system that will last several hours, the kit includes a 1 gallon reservoir. The entire system in the saddlebag, including the reservoir and pump, takes up less than 300 cubic inches. This is approximately 1/6th of a cubic foot.

11.25″ high (with cap), 6.5″ wide (8.5″ with mounting tabs, which are easily cut off), 4.2″ deep.

Yes, several options for different sized bags!  A smaller 3-quart reservoir measuring 8.7″ high (with cap), 6.5″ wide (without tabs), 4.2″ deep. There is also a 1.5-gallon low profile reservoir measuring ‎11.25″ long, 6.97″ high (with cap) x 5.25″ wide.

We recommend using distilled water. This keeps your bike clean, as well as the misting heads. However, any water can be used. If “hard” water is used, more cleaning will be required on your bike. (With no better option, I once personally filled up the reservoir in Sturgis from a garden hose. While I kept cool, I did need to scrub my bike to get all the residue off).

We stand behind our products. We have a 30 day “no questions asked” return policy, just pay shipping. The warranty is one year from the time of purchase.

There are several factors that answer this, depending on temperature, humidity, travel speed, etc. Remember, misting works by cooling the air in front of you, not simply by spraying you with water.  The system is designed to aim the mist toward the neck and chest area. If you want to get somewhat wet, this can be accomplished by aiming the system in and turning up the pump speed. If it is too much, turn down the pump, (or intermittently off and on) and turn one of the heads away from you. The heads stay where put for this reason.

Yes, the remote-control unit is designed to be mounted in the area with other motorcycle controls. It can easily and safely be controlled by the operator while traveling.

Yes!  In addition to the different sized reservoirs, we now offer larger misting heads available for areas with extreme heat.  Called the Arizona Kit, it includes 2 larger heads, plus a valve, allowing the rider to turn one of the heads off and on.  This conserves water when possible and allows more cooling water when you need it!
